Christmas Eve

Tibayan parties are always loud and fun. The annual Eve party was met with old traditions and new. We usually eat, sing praise and worship, short devotion, play games, eat again, gift exchange, pass out gifts. But this year we included Dad telling the history of the Tibayan's, and a year review of each family.

The short devotion reminded me of God being 1. with us (through Christ) 2. for us 3. and in us (in the person of the Holy Spirit). What a gracious God to send His son to destroy the work of the devil (1John3). Sin is crouching at our door. I feel it in many ways by the trials God allows in my life to show me my sin. Thank you Lord for being loving and a great teacher.
