Their unoffical date

He rang the door bell...
She came to the door, but with her father...not exactly what he expected.
Small talk broke the ice...
They headed to a place, a bit more private.

A great dinner to top off the night. After all the horse play, they rested side-by-side, but NOT for the night.

I think we will all regret this, if this is true in 16 more years.

Key's 2 month shots

Wednesday was Key's doctor's appointment.

Key was messing around, and wanting to examine me..."open mouth mommy."
"Open eye's mommy."

At this point she hadn't received the shots, but once she did, she cried (I felt so sad), and right after knocked out. Poor little baby Key.

Our 1st hair cut together

Rock had his 2nd hair cut on Tuesday, but look who did it!

It came out okay, for it being my first time. Sorry Amy-lou, I tricked you :)

Danika day!

For Danika's birthday I decided to take her to Sprinkles! Once she told me she loved cupcakes, I told her I had to take her to Sprinkles for her birthday (7/20), and then to the beach where she could enjoy Rock and God's gorgeous creation.

So on Thursday, we (PJ, kids, Jennifer, Tita Angela, Rachel and Jerry) headed over to Newport, where we ate lunch at our favorite pizza joint, ZPizza.

Then, to cupcake land...

We gave this little guy a small piece of red velvet, but apparently he was love stricken...I have no idea how he got a hold of the wrapper!

After filling our tummies to the brim, we headed over to the sandbox...The two were inseparable (like always).

(*the rest of the pictures are courtesy of my cute sis, Amy-lou)
They tried building sand castles together...

watched dolphins swim by together...

But one thing they didn't do together, was like the water-- together.

Praise God for another year in Danika's life. She's been a big blessing to our little family (Rock, Key, PJ, and I), by her kind, loving, servants heart, which is a reflection of our Lord Jesus. We were so happy to take Danika out and enjoy her silliness (eating cupcakes at 12am while laughing at everything, and getting milk spat in our faces--thanks Danika).

Danika,
We love you and hope we see you grow more and more into a beautiful woman that fears and loves the Lord who became sin for us. May you see the cross more glorious and real in your life now, and in the future years.

A visit from "Lola-ueta"

Rock wanting to push Lola-ueta around :)4 generations...amazing!
I have Rock call my grandma Abuelita but he decided to join "Lola" and "Abuelita"-- we enjoyed the sweet combo. It was the first time they met, and we were so glad to see her enjoy Key.

I pray for my grandmother and her salvation, my mom is faithful with sharing the gospel and constantly pointing to Christ. Lord be with my mom, and open my grandma's eyes.

Happy 2nd

Key turned 2! Well, she hit her 2 month mark today. She's growing fast and is getting cuter every second. We are so thankful to the Lord for her. PJ often says (not sure if he thought this or read it somewhere), that perhaps the Lord made babies so cute because they require so much time and energy, so taking care of them is still enjoyable, despite the fatigue. She sure is cute, and she makes me tired :)

Our little Key can...
sit with mommy...
droll on herself...
cry louder...
kick harder...
and stare like a gangster.

Hunting with the Hunter...

Sunday was our lunch date with our lovely friends, the Bratchers. Throughout the day we were amused with the friendship that Rock and True enjoyed and re-established.

Just as Ruby (The Memory Hunter) commented, everything Rock did--True was right behind him...
standing...

dancing...running...taking a break...

Brave and Key relaxed and did not bother interrupting their siblings.
