Prescott Arizona

Last week we enjoyed ourselves in Arizona with our lovely friends the Nepo's.  We even sang happy 1/2 birthday to Story and gave her a little gift.  It all worked out.

Cute Kingston who won my heart when he was trying to protect Story.  I love him!
Opening her gift
Window shopping in their cute-seee "downtown"
A highly recommended Nepo spot.  Pretty darn good, I must say.
A scrumptious breakfast/lunch before our long way home.  Haven't been here since Virginia.  Their cat fish was SO good!

A blessed time of fellowship and hanging with the lovely Nepo's.  I miss them already but God has them there for a great reason.  Hopefully they'll come back home in a few years and not stay there permanently!

Hel Mel

A few weeks ago I entered the world of Hel Mel, which is literally a few steps away from our place.  An exciting, new, up-and-coming, hipster neighborhood is just grand, BUT not as grand as the original Hel Mel (Helen & Melody).  These two are just a bunch of love and encouragement all rolled into one!  It was a fun night out in Pasadena a few weeks ago with these ladies.
yummy food that had us sharing.
Memorable, encouraging times.  Let's do it again!

A Warm House

NOT just because of the hot weather, but at Miss Alisa's new relocated home!  We gladly ventured there for a nice friendly house warming to welcome her into her new surroundings.

Much fun hanging with CrossView family.  Blessings here, there, and everywhere!

Rock Makes Me Smile

For our kids on Sunday we have been teaching them several BIG questions.
1. Who is the first and best of beings?
A. God is the first and best of beings

2. What is man's main goal?
A. Man’s main goal is to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever.

3. How is God most glorified?
A.God is most glorified when we are most satisfied in him.

Our kids should be familar with these three. Rock has been working on his fourth one and he is awesome. I didn't even know it and I'm still learning it. He corrects me and teaches me the answer! I love him so!!!

4. How do you know there is a God?
A. The light of nature in man, plainly declare that there is a God, but his Word and Spirit only, do affectionally declare unto us, for our salvation.

We will continue to pray for our CrossView kids that they will one day trust and obey Jesus for their salvation.

Mommy's Day

We started our Mums Day with our church family, gathering together for the Lord's Day.Our first Sunday out of our apartment, and into our nearby recreation center (where PJ coaches)Since teaching the kids outdoor was a bit tricky, I decided to do a trail walk that appreciates what God makes and does.We thanked God for the energy he gives us to run... We thanked God for making beautiful dandelions...She wanted to eat them...We thanked God for making us capable of learning...And we thanked God for church family that has to bare with each others imperfections, and still strive to love each other :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After gathering with our favorite people, we headed over to gather with our other favorite people--our other crazy family!
We,
ate...

looked cute...

laughed til our tummies hurt...stayed cool...danced to our favorite 80s hits...we really did...and enjoyed our mommies!

Resurrection Day!

After our Sunday gathering we walked on over to a yummy restaurant near our place. They have a great grilled teriyaki salmon with a roll of sushi.

Resurrection Day is a BIG day. It's the day Christ, proved to be the only acceptable sacrifice for sin (by rising from the dead). Sin that so readily dwells in us. Thank you Christ for making it possible, for repenting sinners, to trust and believe in your sacrifice, thereby attaining a true relationship with Christ, without the burden of trying to attain it through our own means.
