7 Months

For Story's 7 months, she began to eat...

Well, not really!  Way more smiling and laughing than eating.

5 MONTHS

I've been bad with posting monthly picture of my Story, but I have plenty in my camera!  She is growing so big, and I can't believe how cuddly and adorable she is.  I L-O-V-E her (like any mother would) and sometimes get sad at the thought of her being the last, BUT I think that's what is on my heart, because although physically she will be, but Lord willing there will be another through Adoption.
Her pajamas suit her well.

Growing Big

My little girl is making big adjustments in her life.  She's been sleeping in her own big girl bed, and now has started potty training.  She looks so cute and small in her big girl bed, and she seems to love it, especially when her "Snow Man" is there.  I hope to continue the potty training but who knows what will happen when Story comes.  She runs around in her "birthday suit" and manages to make pee pee in her potty, and other times on the floor!  But she's slowly learning, and God is growing my patience.

We LOVE her SOOOO much!  She truly is a BIG blessing in a little package.  How we pray for our Key Hava.

Angry Feet

For the past 2 weeks, Miss Key has been trying to get a handle on this whole walking thing. She's been gradually preferring to walk, but she still falls, and gets angry at her feet...she has anger issues! Last week (I know...I haven't been wanting to update), we headed over to the park for a picnic and play time for all.

Disturbing the peace...

She LOVES the swings...can you tell?Good times at the park. Thank you God.

Rock Makes Me Smile

For our kids on Sunday we have been teaching them several BIG questions.
1. Who is the first and best of beings?
A. God is the first and best of beings

2. What is man's main goal?
A. Man’s main goal is to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever.

3. How is God most glorified?
A.God is most glorified when we are most satisfied in him.

Our kids should be familar with these three. Rock has been working on his fourth one and he is awesome. I didn't even know it and I'm still learning it. He corrects me and teaches me the answer! I love him so!!!

4. How do you know there is a God?
A. The light of nature in man, plainly declare that there is a God, but his Word and Spirit only, do affectionally declare unto us, for our salvation.

We will continue to pray for our CrossView kids that they will one day trust and obey Jesus for their salvation.

A Few More Steps

My nephew Matt was promoted to high school on Friday! In no time he'll be graduating high school. I can't believe how much he's grown...my little Matt-Man is no longer little--he's taller than me :(

Where's Key?You can tell grandma missed Rock a lot because she wanted so many pictures with him :)Lord, help Matt know you more and more. Use him to show others your love through Christ. Help him get through high school and not succumb to the peer pressure of high school. Keep him strong minded and allow him to focus on the things he should, and put away the things that are immature, and a hindrance. In Christ name, amen.

Playing Doctor

Rock had his three year check up, and Key had her one year check up on Tuesday. Rock had one shot, and Key had three shots. Rock did a great job, I was really surprised. Perhaps what helped was pretending to give him shots at home. I requested an allergy test but I didn't think they were going to take two tubes of blood! Poor thing, after that he was very upset :(
They're getting so big :( We should have another one!

Someone had fun...again

For family day we had a picnic and hung out at the park. It was fun being there with PJ, since I've been there 3 times last week with just the kids. Key loves the park. She watches people, dogs, and loves the wind in her face.

Rock's mac n' cheese, Key's cherrios, and my grilled chicken BLT from McD's (it was pretty good), PJ had the fried chicken BLT (of course). She loves swinging and the wind in her face! She's ADORABLE!First time tasting some apple...she was soooo mad when I took it away, this is why I don't give her fruit yet! This week I really felt like I was unpacking in LA. I'm really loving the city more, and more. I'm excited to see what God does. I recently heard a sermon on church planting and he explained, if you want to be part of the community, you really have to "unpack," and make it your home. I really thought I was doing that already, since I live here, but I found out this week that I had more stuff stored away in my luggage. So, just because you live somewhere doesn't neccessarily mean your unpacked. I'm grateful I'm settling in.
