Rain, Rain Come Everyday!

What a sweet surprise to wake up this week to harmonious rain drops...

 The smell of rain all around.

 Homemade waffles for my sick family to cheer them up.

and Puddles all around.

Semi Homemade Waffles (*and a bit altered by me)

Wheat Honey Pancake Mix

*1/4 cup of brown sugar

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

*1 tablespoon of vanilla extract

*1 tablespoon of sugar

*pinch of salt

mix until lumpy, preheat waffle maker, grease it up and pour! My waffle maker is set on a timer but if yours is not try 4-5 minutes. Then ENJOY!

Rainy day schedule calls for...

the family taking a morning walk, to be happily greeted by rain, in which mommy stands in the middle of it, and beckons for the fam to join and enjoy!

Rain is just grand.  According to my mother, I was born when it was raining, that's why I think I was born for it ; )

"The Old Man is Snoring..."

When the rain came I was one of the most happiest people! I LOVE rain and I get so excited like a little school girl :) But then the rain leaves, and I get sad...please come back.
Our apartment complex's little garden devouring the rain drops.This little guy was so happy too! What we sang when the rain was here:

It's raining, it's pouring;
The old man is snoring.
He went to bed and he

And he couldn't get up in the morning.
