Pretty Girl

This is pretty Brooke, my sister Brenda's pretty little girl. I keep forgetting to post pictures of her. This was at her welcome home shower, she didn't have a baby shower because pretty girl, decided to come home a month early. Thank God she is a healthy little pretty girl.

Where the Wild Things Are

...After Max steps off his private boat tumbled by the ocean, he begins exploring.
Max hears some rustling of leaves...
he turns to see if anyone is following...
someone or something is lurking in the forest...
the unknown wild thing wants to befriend Max.
she begins to follow him
Max sees the wild thing!
So, she roars her terrible roar...
Gnashes her terrible teeth, rolls her terrible eyes, and shows her terrible claws...
But Max says "be still!"
She fears this creature, and declares Max to be the king of the wild things!
Max the king, exclaims "let the wild rumpus start!!!"
...

Sick-and-Seat

With the swine flu pandemic, I've been more cautious of Rock and Key. Which is a step towards insanity, since I'm already a bacteria freak. Rock began with the sniffles, which I started to suspect we were heading down the route of "boogiemonters" (the assigned name to his runny noise friends), coughing, sneezing, etc. Two days later with a full blow flu, he began wheezing. I phoned the nurse and she got me an appointment the same day. After the doctor ran some tests, she determined he had slight pneumonia. He now has two medications, plus med's for his breathing nebulizer.

With Halloween around the corner, we'll see if he'll join in festivities. I was so excited for him and Key to tour the town in their costumes that I made, but I don't want to hold on to it too tightly. If he doesn't go trick-or-treating, and has to sit out this year, perhaps Key will just go all by her lonesome without her partner :(

Lord help Rock get better, and most importantly help our faith in you and in your goodness get stronger. In Jesus Christ name, amen.

I MISS this guy!

It's another weekend that I send my beloved off to Seattle, Washington. He goes every month for a couple of days for school, but those days are just so long and drawn out. The kids and I miss him. I miss the fun laughs we have throughout the day. It's so fun when we make each other laugh. He's my best friend!

He sent me this picture that his friend put up on his twitter of him and it read "My homeboy PJ pimping members only jacket". My response back to my love was "you're cute with your hot 80s members jacket!"

"The Old Man is Snoring..."

When the rain came I was one of the most happiest people! I LOVE rain and I get so excited like a little school girl :) But then the rain leaves, and I get sad...please come back.

He went to bed and he

Rock'n the Baldness

PJ finally got his chance to get Rock bald...boy was I sad. His new look is cute, but I miss the mohawk. I love this little guy. I love him so much sometimes I just can't stop kissing him! He sure is a bundle of joy :)

Tomorrow is a special "welcome home baby Brooke" party for my sister's baby...I can't wait to hold her!!! Rock is soooo excited to finally meet Miss Brooke. Tomorrow is also our (PJ, and I) special date with Rock, we're taking him on a special surprise outing--he's been waiting for weeks, hope he enjoys.
