School Time!

During Rock's "School Time" I brush up on his alphabets (upper and lower cases), shapes, and colors. We also added memory verses! He got his 1st memory verse down, Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth". We were very proud of him! We will start with a new one next month, and add other school time activities. We have lots fun but I still have to remind him to be attentive. "Sit down time" has been a BIG blessing, and I am grateful we learned that from fellow sisters at CHBC. If you're wondering what sit down time is, it is where I have Rock sit down right next to me, without doing any activities but simply learning to keep still without toys. This has helped in various areas: church, doctor appointments, during my devotions, etc.

I L O V E being a M O M M Y!!!

Thank you Lord for allowing me to teach Rock your Word, and I pray one day he will not be confused of who you are and what you did. May he learn to trust you and desire to make you Lord of his entire life. Help PJ, and I to be very careful of how we teach Christianity to our kids and never allow them to think they are believers without really understanding the enourmous implications on their lives. In Christ name, amen.

it was laughing last night with the other married couples. man, God is good in providing other believers in the same stage of life that we could be dumb with and even admit our stupid sins!!! haha... now, i will be convicted next time i throw a stool!

G, the earlier you start the better. She understands boundaries now, of course at her age the "sit down time" will be shorter but the concept is the same. It also allows you to show her your loving authority. The ladies at CHBC were doing these to their kids at a very early age.

RB,
I LOVED hanging out last night. The stupidity of sin definitely came out last night, hahaha. Maybe me laughing at myself will help me not be dumb and fall into sin when we get into an argument! If we ever get into a fight, don't throw a stool at me, k? haha love ya pal!!!
